The Overcoat Opt-in
Jan. 14th, 2023 09:23 amGogol has a ability known as The Overcoat. This enables him to transfer items and people (or partial bits of people) from one space to another within 30 meters.
If an object or living being can fit into the dimensions of the cape then it's fair game. As you can imagine it's a very useful ability for, like, killing, maiming, and terrorizing people very quickly. He does a pretty good job illustrating the degree of control he has over it here:

This means he could do things to your character remotely (with permission). Not all direct uses of The Overcoat are deadly, sometimes it's for comedic purposes, but Gogol does has a habit of pulling body parts (primarily limbs) through to immobilize people. And so, THE OPT-IN—
The three levels:
1. On principle I won't have him use the ability directly unless someone has opted-in.
2. By default I'll stick to him using it indirectly. Like influencing the surroundings with it (ie. placing a bucket under someone's foot so they may trip if they don't notice).
3. Full permission to do whatever his twisted little heart desires—with discussion should it enter maiming territory.
Please opt-out completely here if you want absolutely nothing to do with the Overcoat or Gogol himself! Comments screened, anon enabled, IP logging are off on that post.
